The Lord has blessed us these past two years with the provision of a Transitional Team. Pastor Larry led this team and helped us transition setting us up for this next phase of our life journey as a church. In 2016, The Alliance SE District helped us through the selection of a PST and worked with us in the calling of Pastor Jesse. In their time with us, the need to further help us arose as they realized our potential as a church in our city, community and district. Hence, they began working with our leadership to put in place a plan where together we can build on what God has been doing among us. The Alliance SE has pledged to provide First Alliance Church with transitional assistance between now and when Jesse joins us and after Pastor Jesse is in place. We also will need you to be listening for God's voice and direction in how you can step in and use your spiritual gifts and talents to be a part of a smooth transition and be a blessing to others; whether in the nursery, children's ministry, worship, prayer, teaching, music or other ministries. Your active participation is so important in this next period of transition!

Annual Meeting – January 29, 2017 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel
We also want you to mark your calendars for the Annual Meeting of the membership that will be held on January 29 at 1:30 pm. It will be very important for all members to attend this meeting. The 2017 Budget will be presented to the membership for approval. We also will be presenting important information on next steps for the church. In light of the transitional period we are in, the boards agreed to defer the appointment of the Nominating Committee until our new Lead Pastor comes on board in February. This will enable Pastor Jesse to settle in and become better acquainted with the congregation and leadership. We will provide additional reminders over the next several weeks, along with a copy of the budget for review in advance of the Annual Meeting.
Let's all continue to be steadfast in prayer, in a spirit of humility and dependence, as the Lord continues to lead us, in preparation for our next season of ministry at First Alliance Church of Orlando. Thank you for praying, and thank you for considering how you can serve!
